Why we think this is right
The 1976 studio recording combines a centred twelve-string acoustic figure with a moving stereo pickup layer. Felder describes a Takamine with a DeArmond pickup, Echoplex and Leslie, and his electric tone comes from a 1959 Les Paul into a cranked narrow-panel Tweed Deluxe. Walsh's Telecaster supplies a contrasting lead voice; Frey plays the percussive accompaniment. Use four reusable tone states: acoustic figure, electric rhythm and the two lead voices. The native dials, speaker voicing and short ambience are suggested recreation settings.
